Amazing food and service. I would say the best food in the area. We went for a family celebration and used the private room. We will be retuning for sure. Our friends from abroad find the Italian dishes just like in Italy and we had the best cooked steak in the area. Well done; really impressed.

Beautiful birthday dinner! Food was scrumptious Service was excellent only thing was a couple of flies annoying us but it didn’t detract from the gorgeous food and the excellent presentation. We have driven past Caesers many times, so we decided to go for a family meal. I thought the food and service were really good. I had the Kofta to start and the Calzone for my main course. Gutted wanted to go to the dolphin for so long ,even more as advertised as an Italian which I love.Things that need to change for this place to reach its full potential, make sure you have parmersan cheese, make sure you have a full cocktail list available and if you say you have a DJ on a Friday night make sure they turn up this place could be so good I hope they get it right, they recognised their flaws which was reflected in the Bill . Came here for my brother's 70th birthday. Food was pretty awful. Didn't mention it at the time as I didn't want to spoil his day by making a fuss. Calamari like rubber. Unable to rustle up a chicken pasta dish so I had a luke warm chicken roast. They forgot the stuffing on two plates so we asked for some and got a single tiny stuffing ball each that looked like it was from a packet mix. My wife's roast beef was too tough to cut so she left nearly all of it. Not cheap. Waiting staff all very friendly and attentive. Won't be coming back here again.

Firstly would like to say the staff in there are all really pleasant and helpful. Our waitress was lovely and efficient. The starters were delicious and came out quickly but the main courses were extremely poor a pizza that seemed undercooked and was almost just dough in the middle with toppings that weren’t particularly tasty l, and a seafood dish where the fish was overdone, thrown in sauce with undercooked chorizo. They were also out of tomato ketchup which I think is inexcusable in a pub! The pub was also freezing cold and other diners complained of this multiple times. The staff were great but we were disappointed by the food and as a result would not return.

It has been a while since I last dined at The Dolphin and I have previously enjoyed it. The new floor was slippery and wet, which was a bit concerning. The food was average; my wife and I had the leg of lamb which was well cooked and tasty, but the accompanying pea risotto was not great. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of consideration for disabled customers. The back door, which is usually easier for those with mobility issues, was locked. The front entrance had a couple of steps, making it difficult to navigate. I would suggest installing a slope somewhere to improve accessibility. Additionally, improving the path to the upper car park would instill confidence for those at risk... Speisekarte ansehen
