"Read the reviews so had high hopes we wanted to eat there as they have few tables outside very nice menu lots choice placed our order but had quite a long wait nobody cleared or cleaned the tables which wasn't covid friendly and they obviously have regular clientel whom seem to occupy most tables with coffees smoking and swearing so wasn't nicest environment or most enjoyable lunch experience-sorry! We didn't receive an apology for long wait and even tho the server could c used cups ashtray etc she didn't clear it, I wiped table myself with antibacterial wipes! However thr baguettes/ wraps were very nice with lots of filling at reasonable prices"

"Well prepared food here, using quality ingredients. The staff and the ambience make it an ideal local place to catch up with friends or to feel welcome when relaxing alone. I can personally recommend the coffee, crab sandwiches, lamb burger, fish, salads... and friends have never been disappointed with their choices. Nothing is too much trouble and the chef has proved more than competent in catering for specific dietary requirements such as (both) meat and lactose free. I have visited the Social Grill frequently and most recently for lunch with a friend when I decided it's about time I wrote a review."

"I visited Joys Cafe, yesterday lunchtime, for a snack and was very impressed with my meal and drink. I had never been here before, so wanted to go along to see what it was like and wasn't disappointed. I went in here with my Support Worker and sat a table by the window, where you could see out over to the green and around. We had toasties and two drinks, which was very nice and delicious, with mine being a bacon and cheese toastie on brown bread with a coffee oak milk. My Support had a cheese and toastie on brown bread with a orange juice. They had brownies and crispy cakes for sale, but we were full after our toastie. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with a smile and we would go there again and I would recommend the cafe to my disabled friends, if they are in the area. I love Community base places where people can get together and share? Thank you, see you again soon."

"Dinner Dickys bar brasserie Southbourne, Bournemouth What a find this was. We were going somewhere else but was recommended here. It's everything we love. Great venue and ambiance with the most delicious top quality food. We were spoilt for choice. For starters we had the Crispy Squid which was do fresh and tender. And for something different, Black pudding Blue cheese Scotch Egg. Mains chosen were the fillet of Red Snapper with a very tasty curry sauce. Then the star of the show Biefstuk. Dutch beef steak with chilli gravy served with fries and bread for mopping. The Beef was so tender and delicious. We've never had anything like this before and is an absolute must try. We couldn't manage a dessert as we were totally full. They had a very tempting specials board. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating and service was spot on."

"This evening some friends and I ordered from Balti Spice from just eat and waited half an hour past the estimated delivery time to contact them. After ringing them them assured they delivered it to us (even though they didn't) and if we had wanted to take it further we should contact just eat. Just eat said they could do nothing until the restaurant autherised a refund of which they refused. Long story short we've been charged for a takeaway we never received and both Balti Spice and just eat refuse to admit they were in the wrong. If I were you I wouldn't take the risk and order from Balti Spice. I'd order from one of the many other Indian takeaways available in the area of which I'm sure you'd receive much better service from. It's extremely dissapointing after ringing Balti Spice twice and ringing just eat. What a waste of time and money"
