"Overall just ok. Our visit was more highlighted by the horrendous weather but what did turn up to our garden table (in the pouring rain, so credit to them for bringing it out was a very average burger. We ordered cheese on it but it wasn't added so in the end the burger was a large patty, a big piece of tomato and some lettuce. The cornichons fell out but expect they were in there too. There was a nice spicy sauce with it but the whole thing was cold and overall not great... The kids pizzas looked great and were a good size (but cost £10! but the only option was margarita... No idea why they couldn't offer even some pepperoni. Wife's roast was just ok too. Cold but tasted ok."

Very nice place , more a restaurant than a pub . Food and service good and really liked the potatoes! Found the pudding a bit stodgy for me . Seems to attract an older crowd but would go again in warmer weather to enjoy the outside area

Five of us were booked in for lunch. All of us bar one opted for roasts and they all appeared to have a smokey/BBQ taste, even the vegetables. We mentioned it to our server and she hadn’t received similar comments from others. I’m not sure it was because we were one of, if not the first to be served our roast dinners. It has unfortunately put us off returning for a roast dinner. The desserts however were very nice.

While not haute cuisine, this restaurant offers excellent service. The menu features typical pub fare, such as Sunday roasts. I enjoyed sitting in the conservatory by the sunny southern window, although some blinds would be a nice addition. Families frequent this restaurant, so expect to see toddlers running around. The conservatory lacks a toilet, so you must go outside and enter the main pub for facilities. Conveniently, there is a large car park available.

Wow, just wow… The Spotted Cow is tucked away in a scheduled area that you think a restaurant would be. This is a must visit place for all the die hard food fans. From the moment you walk in to being greeted to the table service is exceptional. The food is quite simply incredible and is not over priced for the quality of food on offer. I will be returning with other members of my family, so that they can taste the amazing food on offer. I would advise to book before arriving as it is very popular.
