Absolutely fantastic meal nice range of beverages as well highly recommended

The roast dinner was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Bright clean welcoming pub. Easy to miss if first time going there. Only a small car park. A couple of nice real ales and some comfy chairs.

Visited here on Friday 13th October 2023. Had breakfast and a coffee. Breakfast was nice, healthy and not greasy like most fry ups. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice place for sure. Can recommend

Do not rely on the listed opening hours! After walking for 30 minutes on a Saturday evening, we arrived only to discover that the restaurant was closed. It appears that this establishment is hardly ever open! Speisekarte ansehen

A friendly pub with a delicious roast. They were out of the nut roast as a veggie option, but had a few alternatives to choose from instead (I had pumpkin). The meat eaters in our group were also very happy with their pork, beef and tuna.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The pork loin we ordered was locally sourced, and it was both delicious and lean. The staff were very welcoming and the bar had a bright and airy atmosphere, with a pleasant outdoor seating area. We will definitely return in the future.

We stopped and had lunch at Wissett and had a lovely meal. Great variety of options, all well presented in a relaxing atmosphere. The service was very friendly and the new owners have made a tremendous effort and it’s really showing with the attention to detail.
