Just had a wonderful Sunday lunch as always. Beef , veg, service, can't fault. Could have been a tadge warmer was only thing. On the whole brilliant. Thank you.

We can’t fault this pub. I proper local feel. The staff were very welcoming and the food was lovely. My daughter had the cheese burger and in her words ‘there’s half a cow in here’. Will definitely go again.

We have been here for food a couple times in the last couple of months and cannot fault a thing. The food is lovely and service is fab. I recommend the Chicken Panang Curry with a portion of chips! 5/5 from us Speisekarte ansehen

We had a get together with family and friends to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. Fabulous evening from start to finish. Staff were amazing. Buffet was wonderful, cannot recommend this pub enough. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back. Thank you.

Visited on Monday night for the Italian night 3 courses for £9.95. Food was amazing and the portions were great. The pizza was really tasty and plenty to take home and have the next day Absolute bargain and a lovely place will definitely be returning to try the full menu!

We were looking for a lovely traditional Sunday Dinner.We were not disappointed.A lovely selection of veg with additional extras of Cumberland Sauage Stuffing and Cauliflower Cheese.We chose beef and it was beautifully cooked.Gravy was tasty and not runny.Staff were lovely and polite and service was quick.We will definitely be back. We are up here from Salford staying at Ushaw which only serves breakfast so we have to fend for ourselves and found the travelers rest. Glad we did Jackie looked after us with some very useful info for the area. Our food came and we were not disappointed very tasty not to much and not to little. We left a good tip promisesing to return later in the week.

Chose the travellers to host dinner for about 25 people for my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The manager set up an area for us, did the decorations and it looked great. Food was pre ordered and all courses were served by staff so that we were all eating at the same time, absolutely no complaints about the meals, service or atmosphere!! A fantastic time was had by all! Lovely local pub.

Absolutley beautiful food! Friendly staff but not the iver powering kind and cosy pub atmosphere. We went for the first time about a month ago and been back 3 times since, its that good. Tonight we had the feather blade of beef with mash dumpling and honey carrots, and the lasagne with garlic bread and salad both were fantastic. They also have an italian night on a monday 3 courses for less than a tenner, and there not shabby portions either. Deffo recomend. Speisekarte ansehen
