Frist time we had visited Bar 163 What a fantastic experience Excellent fresh food, cooked to a very high standard Excellent service throughout the evening It's so nice to have freshly prepared food, serviced by Happy Friendly Staff, will definitely return again when back in London, especially looking forward to going into the outdoor garden area

I was there with my family of 4. Two of us had different Thai curries. There was barely 2 spoonfuls of rice and hardly any food on the plate. Very very poor value for money. This restaurant was always a good place to go with lovely food but not anymore. The wine was warm and other people were saying the same. There are plenty of other places to eat.

Bar 163 has been a feature of Egham for many years and it goes from strength to strength. The food was outstanding, good portions and great tasting dishes at good prices. The front of house manager was very attentive and the overall service excellent. The breakfast menu is superb and Bar163 is the best in Egham highly recommended, a breath of fresh air. This is one of my favourite restaurants…brilliant atmosphere, delicious food and good staff especially Izzy who is the life and soul of the place very energetic efficient and charming. I would normally give 5 stars but tonight my sweet potato and chickpea curry wasn’t the same dish I had previously eaten, very few chick peas too much mango not as tasty ….my husband’s steak was perfect.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bar 163. I visited with my wife and our two-year-old child, and we were impressed by the outstanding hospitality and delicious food. This restaurant is a hidden gem, with the perfect ambiance created by the candles, lighting, and seating arrangements. The food quality was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly. We are already making plans to host our work Christmas party at Bar 163.

I regularly visit Bar 163 and am always pleased with the food and service. I have been meaning to write a review for a few weeks now about their Beetroot Salmon Gravalax which is delicious but I am glad that I didn’t get round to it. I spotted the Lamb Stew with silver onions, carrots and Daphonaise potatoes on the menu which I ordered last Saturday. Gilles has elevated the humble Lamb Stew to a different level.
