Very carefully prepared food with strong flavors. The 7-course tasting menu also includes one with cheese, if you don 't like that you should put together your own menu. At the end there were two desserts sharing . I especially liked the ox cheek. A course of game was a bonus over the a la carte menu. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Superb meal, definitely on par with or exceeding 1-star (and some 2-star) Michelin-starred restaurants. The food is exceedingly good, creative, and perfectly executed. We were scraping sauces and very near licking the plates clean. Definitely an underrated and understated but outrageously good meal. You don’t get the bells and whistles of some fine dining restaurants in terms of decor or plates coming at exactly the same time, but as a trade off you get truly phenomenal food, hot, and just beautifully done in a comfortable, cozy environment. The most outstanding meal of our trip — hands down.

Superb meal from start to finish. We had some substantial dietary requirements and Kate and her husband dealt with them as if they were no fuss at all- that is what I call excellent customer service. The taster menu is brilliant value for money and my family were delighted with every course. These hard working pair of lovely individuals deserve to succeed and prosper and they are a prime example why we should keep supporting local businesses.
