Beckford Arms - Speisekarte

We enjoyed our stay at The Beckford Arms. All the staff were so lovely and helpful. Our meals were all good, and the cocktails made for my wife were great. The location was beautiful, and we will go back.

Lovely lunch, preceded by a drink in the garden. I had the bavette and fries, which I enjoyed very much. Good range of things on the menu, nice selection of wines and beers. Really friendly and efficient service.

A really friendly rural well run pub with rooms. The service food and ambiance is spot on. A relaxed atmosphere whether you drop in for an early drink or if you are taking a short break. I would not hesitate to recommend. Paul and Jane. Speisekarte ansehen

Lovely food. You can tell it's quality. Superb fish with the lightest crispiest beer batter. Beautiful out of the way place. Excellent service. Perhaps a little pricier than we usually pay but couldn't fault it. Came across the pub by chance.

I booked a table for food and drinks with my partner and our friends. The service was outstanding, lovely atmosphere all the staff were well mannered and extremely friendly and welcoming. Best pub around this area by far and would highly recommend this lovely pub.

We had our business strategy day at the Beckford and it went very smoothly where nothing was too much trouble; the staff were really helpful and friendly. Stopped here for lunch on our way to Plymouth. Friendly service, yummy Sunday roast and Bravette steak with chips. The chips were great, crunchy not soggy. We sat in the outdoor but covered courtyard area. Has a nice garden area for dogs to wander around as well as picnic style tables to enjoy a drink. Service was friendly and attentive. Would come back if in the area.

Lovely, slightly quirky pub with beautiful rooms. Pleasant additional touches a tea pot (I’m a two cuppa girl) yand luxury bathroom lotions etc. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Suggested a couple of interesting places to visit locally. Breakfast was a delight wide choice of top quality items. I managed to leave a tee shirt behind stay and it was posted on to me. Will definitely stay again

We visited the area for an overdue catch up with a long standing friend of my wife. We had a booking probably a good idea I would think. We were blessed with a beautiful summer evening so we’re seated outside it’s open but shaded. The greeting from the young staff was spot on, the attention from the servers was first class all evening. Absolutely no rushing which I like. I had lamb perfectly cooked as my main. It came with polenta and asparagus. Superb. My companions both had cod which they rated the same. We had starters and pudding and enjoyed everything. Everything well worth my five star rating.
