"Been here couple of days ago as we arrived at our holiday spot in this region.Being a family of six we booked the table upfront, based on the reviews read on Tripadvisor...like we often do.Our experience is (unfortunately) not as nice as most of the reviewers here.Or, maybe Chouchou was having a very bad day...one thing however is certain, we won't go back to try a second time. The pizzas are covered with a fake mozzarella, not tasty at all.The meat they said was Irish...have never eaten such bad quality Irish meat.Salad was very poorly dressed and ingredients scarce. The location is not helping either...sitting outside certainly, but one is sitting extremely close to the parking lot and just next to that a busy road leading to Valbonne.Cherry on top of the take: one of the kids has been sick all night after this dinner...Positive point: the staff are very friendly, fast and helpful.A pitty we've had this experience, seen all the other good reviews, but I cannot align mine with them for obvious reasons."

The pizza are good and large enough to satisfy strong appetite. The staff is always friendly. Even with a close passing road the terrace is always enjoyable. Warmly recommended.

Best bavette de beuf and house French fries in cote d azure! It looks very unglamorous but don't be deceived by the looks. Service is very quick and efficient. Prices more than reasonable. Lots of locals come here for workday lunch.

This restaurant is close to the road and the seating area is outside (but covered and heated in the winter). However, don't let the look of it deceive you - they offer very good food for good prices. Staff was friendly and there were several families with kids when we were there. Def recommend it!

pizzas are succulent with a pleasant frank touch with the addition of cantal in each recipe. I'm a serious Mexican with her chorizo and goat wedding. they concoct for customers a great welcome. The service is fast. prices are within reach of all. It's an excellent pizzeria where everything looks perfect. Speisekarte ansehen

Pizzas all round for 5 adults and 3 children, ices for the children and copious drinks. Total bill €104. Do not be fooled by the location at the side of a car park, the food here is excellent with the best pizza in the area and other dishes to match. Only 2 klms from where we live, our life often features a walk to Chou Chou with the dogs, a Tartiflette and a Mickey pizza followed by a walk home. An excellent evening without breaking the bank.

If I want something simple and fast I tend to go here as I live locally. The place is usually full of locals and some tourists the food is quickly prepared and served. The tables have paper coverings and the sort of food ranges from Pizzas, steaks and a daily ever changing menu ....You get a lot of food on the plate and it is cheap. I would not say that you can expect a gastronomic experience but against that you do get fresh produce, friendly service and it is fast.

"Restaurant chosen by chance with the family. We were looking for a restaurant so as not to eat at home and they still had a table available. We said to ourselves: “pizzas will do it for our two daughters”. And it didn't happen as we imagined. We enter, a young woman welcomes us friendly, we have the small table at the back. It's crowded, I told myself we're going to wait ages. We chose two pizzas, two lasagnas, mushrooms with garlic butter, half a bottle of wine and sodas for the little ones. First good surprise, we were served quickly. Second good surprise, everything is cooked over a wood fire, the mushrooms are delicious, the thin crust pizzas are among the best we have eaten, the girls enjoyed the lasagna, the wine was good and served at the perfect temperature. Third good surprise, people at the counter bring out two guitars, an impromptu concert. We linger a little, we applaud the artists, we order desserts. The desserts were also good, we finished with coffee and a digestive, a small pear (to be consumed in moderation). This restaurant reminded me of the atmospheres in some restaurants from the 90s. Simple cuisine of excellent quality, in the pure tradition of regular restaurants, no fuss. The devil is in the details and by observing carefully we know that everything is perfect, that we are in the right place to have a good time. It's refined, delicate without being pretentious. The welcome and politeness of the people in the room is admirable. They made sure the girls didn't get burned on the lasagna dishes. A small detail that makes the difference. We will come back with pleasure Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"My wife and I ate at this 1* Michelin restaurant on the edge of Grasse in Maganos last night, and it is by far the best new discovery in the Côte d’Azur we have come across this summer. The restaurant is family owned and operated, featuring Sébastien Giraud as the head chef and his wife Madame Giraud as the maître d’. The location offers a beautiful view down through the valley of Grasse, and it is relatively quiet even though it is on a main artery into Grasse from the east. There are only 15 or so covers, and this – in my opinion – is a benefit to patrons both in terms of quality of food and service. The food was absolutely excellent. It is not fussy per se, but features local seasonal ingredients, which is obvious from the first dish. It is creative as well, but not in a way that gets in the way of the taste of the food. On offer is either a 3- or 4-course dinner, at prices of €39 and €55. For quality of the experience, this is outstanding value. Wines are readily available by the bottle or glass, with the latter offerings well-matched with the food and not “over-the-top” expensive. I had fresh tomato and crabmeat starter, followed by the turbot, then a smoked chicken in a lovely broth, and a marvellous finisher, opting for cheese rather than desert. The cheese was special, in that it was a creamy and rather light cheese mousse with summer truffles. All dishes are modest in size and prepared with seasonal (and locally-sourced) ingredients, garnished in a way that makes the flavours come to life. Nothing about the food was disappointing! The service was also excellent, with Mdm Giraud assisted by her very capable son in serving diners. Both French and English are spoken. There is no air at all about this place, which is casual and inviting. With outstanding food, excellent service, a pleasant ambience, and good value, Au Fil du Temp is one of the best finds in this region I have come across in some time, and I highly recommend it."
