Went on a Friday night which on the website states just to turn up! Which you lllhave to as no one answers the phone.

Exciting menu , good for vegetarians, good for kids, good music by local guitarist/singer, lovely friendly atmosphere and as always the staff are super!

Visited the garden kitchen cafe tonight with the family for a lovely meal with live music in the courtyard. Fab atmosphere, service and delicious food. Will definitely be returning, what a lovely way to spend a Friday night! Speisekarte ansehen

Four of us had a fabulous seven course meal last week. The food was excellent, so many beautiful flavours which worked together so well. We ate it all and could have licked the plates had manners allowed. The service was impeccable, so slick but yet unhurried and a beautiful setting/ambiance to cap it all.

My dining partner and I went to the cafe for lunch on a sunny day. It was wonderful to sit outside in the beautiful courtyard. We shared the meat plate and tried the salad of the day, which was fantastic. There were numerous drink options available, including many local brands. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this cafe in the future!

A firm favourite and breath of fresh air (literally). Set in an old farm barn courtyard, with much of the rustic charm untouched, this hidden delight offers first class service, superb locally sourced and inventive food at sensible prices, and an events calendar that showcases the heritage of both the café vibe it effortlessly achieves with a hint of fine dining. Came to the Garden Kitchen Cafe for one of their Barn and Yard wood fired grill nights with my family (including our three year old! and what an amazing evening we had. Truly delicious food, and loads of it, served by really friendly staff, outside under the beautiful summer sky. The courtyard is beautifully decorated with giant pots of flowers and olive trees, and the whole place just looks gorgeous. Plus with live music being played all evening, what's not to love! Thank you Garden Kitchen Cafe, we'll definitely be back!

We visitedfor morning for coffee and lunchtime as we were at the country fayre. Getting served was very difficult indeed. Apparently you should ask to be seated then they bring you a menu. Having sat there two times more than half of their customers sat as we did and thought we would be noticed. Even if this was incorrect! We were still paying customers and they should observe changes in the seating area as its business! We waited a long time for someone to take our order and just as much time for the order to arrive. The food was good and tasty but spoilt by the very bad service. They were busy but they should have anticipated this as there was an event. We saw many annoyed customers in res...

After a visit to the beautiful woodlands and gardens with my daughter, we stayed for lunch at the cafe. We didn't notice the sign to wait to be seated, and had to ask for a menu, but after that the service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a really tasty quiche, and my little girl had a picnic box that included a generous chunk of proper sausage roll and a piece of brownie as well as a sandwich with thick farmhouse ham and a satsuma. We asked for the stated mixed nuts to be replaced with salad and got cucumber not averse to nuts, but some veg by default would make the selection more balanced.
