Gaucho Piccadilly - Speisekarte

It was a busy Saturday night but the service was good although did feel we were being ushered out at the end of the meal Steak as per normal here was very good although the portion sizes for the extras spinach mash potato and vegetables were slightly disappointing

I was not impressed by the customer service we received. A few waitresses had attitude problems and treated us with disrespect. Wannabe waitresses and lots of wannabe customers too especially for the bottomless brunch type offer during the weekend. Pretentious yet very average to summarise.

Lovely restaurant with exceptional steaks. Other options available but the steak is so good, it's always a must for me at a Gaucho. Brilliant waiter, Krzysztof, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Helped us with our choice of steak, wine and cocktails. Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere, we had a great evening. The worst meal i have ever had at a Gaucho branch from start to finish. Was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, steak was not cooked as asked for and service was extremely poor. Despite having raised this with management (Peter and Davide) there still has been no response even though i was promised a call. Will not be returning.

Amazing! Impressive from start to finish! Service was fantastic by our waiter Cedric drinks were never empty and we always had food. He was very informative and friendly! Food was delicious especially the free flowing starters and steak cooked and seasoned perfectly! Only one improvement would be the desserts but by the time we got to dessert we were very full anyway! It feels very classy and doesn't feel like a regular in and out brunch

Great room, cool party vibe but not so loud it was not enjoyable. The service was excellent. The food is excellent. We have had a lot of steaks and chimichuri both at home and in Argentina. The ribeye steak here was excellent. Perfectly grilled and the chimichuri was smokey and spicy but in the best possible way. Excellent. We had a lovely Malbec with it. We also enjoyed their fries, mushrooms, and sticky toffee pudding. Great meal. Would absolutely go back. Speisekarte ansehen

Not bad but I was expecting much more from this fancy Argentinean restaurant in central London. Tables with no tablecloth, napkins were not made of fabric. We ordered one carafe of red wine and when the waiter brought it to the table it was already out of the original bottle, how do I know is the wine I have asked for!? (I had never tasted that wine in particular) which by the way costed me c £50. We tried the ceviche and it didn’t taste as ceviche, at least not like the Peruvian one (which I consider the original taste). This was set menu lunch supposed to be an anniversary celebration. The location and decor of the restaurant were impressive, BUT as for the food.... We were given menus: just the a la carte, so I had to ask for the set lunch menu; from which we ordered #2 and #3 courses respectively. Both the steaks (sirloin rump) were cooked medium rare as requested BUT were of mediocre quality: under sized and far too much gristle. Equally amazing and horrifying!! was the poor quality of the chips: powdery 'ash ' all over (as per uncleaned frying oil) and 30% inedible broken bits pieces. So I chose the restaurant just because it was conveniently located near the theatre I was attending. I walked past, the restaurant looked nice, food on tables looked nice, there were empty tables, so decided to go in. So from start to finish, being honest, nothing was bad, but nothing was good either. After waiting a short while at the entrance to the restaurant I was asked to go back outside register. After asking why, the waiter took me out, appeared to register me to a table in the computer, then walked me back inside… not exactly convenient no one had stopped me prior.
