"if they are somewhere in the opposite, they must visit. a modern yet traditional pub in a welcoming and friendly environment. excellent food for which I would give full marks. they can say a good place if they take so much care with the quality and presentation of child food. Although not something I would normally see, I had a steak and sausage cake with maic and seasonal veg. my sohn had sausages and maic, which also came with seasonal veg. now the important part. eating was to die, usually I find that seasonal undercooking, but not cooked here to perfection. real maic and above all a torte with a puff-tyety. Finally, was too full for a gloomy looking good, but my son has an earthly business that came with a real earthy and after a taste was not the usual cheap did finally. very good price with a main meal of about 12.00 and a child meal with egg for 6.00 pint of haverlee (never heard, very good though) 4.00 and. koks for 2.00 if I lived in the opposite, it would be my new place to go. I'm not a typist, but I have the need to do this. well made kirkmichael arms"

I would thoroughly recommend dining at the Kirkmichael Arms. The food is outstanding and presented beautifully. Special mention to the home cured corned beef, it was a revelation!

we all really enjoyed dinner here. everything was right. Note that the meat bark is not lasagne in a tomato sauce, it is more fleshy. interesting desserts and a friendly helpful staff.

we got in for a short time. restaurant page was very busy and we had a little dog with us so sat in the bar area. good to get a real prise in Scotland and it was not disappointed. very well maintained. the food was excellent. very tasty. would definitely return if in the opposite.

We sat in the bar when we had the poke with us. we have selected the dishes from the special table. the food was delicious, even to the salad dress for my longoustine scampi. well done chef! everyone in our party was impressed and very satisfied. great value for money. we're coming back!

Absolutely one of the best places to have a drink and a meal! Best fish I've ever tasted, not to mention they allowed oue 10month of Belgian Malinois x German shepherd in for his first pub visit! Couldn't be happier with the service and such friendly staff and locals! 100% reccomend for anyone wanting a well priced meal especially if you have a pupper!

As a solo traveller and diner I found the staff and service in the restaurant very good. Thoughtful gestures like providing reading material for a lone diner was much appreciated. Some effort to cut through any formalities was worth it conversationally. I had the duck and a pint of 0.5% West Nix beer on draught. The beer was decent to my taste and it is nice to see low alcohol beers making into draught form now. The duck breast was served pink right through, and not knowing anything about cooking duck and given the quality of the establishment, I trusted the situation; I was not given any choice e.g. like you are with steak. Reading up on it afterwards it seems this is a not uncommon practic...
