Great service, staff very attentive and helpful with recommendations. Bread at start was delicious, as were the mini doughnuts at the end of tge meal. Highly recommended, although expensive. Absolutely fantastic meal. Took us both to Italy. Everything was wonderful. Very special flavours. One of the best meals we have had this year. My Ray Wing was exceptional. Phenomenal place, stunning location. Epic design and decor. Absolutely next level food and drinks. Really impressive offering and friendly lovely staff. Recommend ordering the sides and sharing if you're party is open to that. A real treat if you're in the area. Should be a 4.9 as just a few niggles have already fed those back. Mehhh. What can I say. We came because we watched the programme recently with Fred who went and ate here. Was bang up for the scallops we saw being caught on the show. Listen. They were really tasty. But there was a distinct lack of volume when it comes to portions. The main was the sea bass for 2. Again it was tasty but lacking in substance. For £120 with 1 glass of wine and a Diet Coke I want to feel bowled over. I want to fall in love with the food and the venue. I just didn’t get it. Your Mum/Gran would absolutely love it though if you want to take her out for some expensive food and try and show her you’ve made it.

Located in a GORGEOUS city, this restaurant features beautiful decor and ambiente, with excellent, friendly staff who offer a great experience. dog-friendly too! eating was very well presented as expected and they gave a great weeping recommendation. my starter oysters were beautiful and came with a helpful lection when I tried them before. the main course was a hit. the monk was filled and cooked for perfection. the kartoffels were perfect, Tempura cakes were divine, the beans were beautifully buttery and the tomatoes were simply incredible. this assessment is based on the overall experience. this evening, the seahorse visited for a very special occasion and had something different than something special. thinking back into the “Seahorse of old” was an experience in which one could feel, wanted and appreciated. we left last night the feeling as if it was now a special club we were not members. I used the feedback at the time of the “Style over Substance”, but in fairness the problems did not quite articulate, it is that I felt that just attention was paid to the wrong things, e.g., how dinge appear instead of taking care of the detail of what is actually, i.e. the above mentioned note. if I could score a few areas separately, th...
