The wonderful team at the Thai Shire always come up trump. We always leave with a warm and happy feeling and far too full! Delicious food and special service.

Fantastic food with the best service. Three of us went for the set menu, with a fourth opting for a number of vegetarian dishes. Everything was perfect, including the rose wine, which was a great selection. Such a lovely place, will be back.

Amazing food, great service, good choice. Would recommend without a moment's hesitation. PLEASE NOTE! Despite the comments saying they're closed due to COVID, they're not. They need to update this as we nearly missed out on this amazing place.

As always this restaurant does not disappoint, you can always be sure of a warm welcome and friendly staff. The dishes span Chinese, Malaysian and Thai so a great selection. A very good value menu combination which never disappoints, slightly bare at the moment as...the have reduced the tables but that’s just the times we live in, just brilliant thanks.

We have been coming to this restaurant for a few years and the food is always amazing. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, quick service. Don’t be out of by the exterior- we walked by it for years as it looked a bit run down...from the outside, little did we know it was hiding a hidden gem inside! You won’t be disappointed and it’s very reasonably priced.

My girlfriend and I visited Thai Shire on the back of a recommendation from our AirBnb host in Chipping Norton. The food and the service in here were absolutely incredible. The mixture of Thai, Chinese and Malay options on the menu made the experience even...greater. The food was all amazing but the salt and pepper prawns were a personal favourite! Don't hesitate booking a table here if you're a fan of Asian food!

During lockdown, and once the Thai Shire had reopened for takeaways, we enjoyed a meal from them once a month. When we heard they were going to reopen for pre-booked tables, we booked an evening meal to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant tables were well...spread out and it made a nice airy change from the pre-Covid layout. The service was charming and speedy as ever. Because the food came straight from the kitchen, the appearance and quality was even better than the takeaways. This is our favourite Chipping Norton restaurant and I thoroughly recommend it.

We booked a night in a hotel in Chipping Norton, and decided on Thai food ahead of our visit. Our experience lived up to the previous reviews and it was one of the best Thai restaurant’s we’ve eaten in. Hygiene was spot on and it...was very Covid safe. We chose the set menu and it was more than enough for big appetites. We don’t usually go for set menus as the choice is usually not to our taste, but this one had a great variety and included a Thai beef curry in the main dishes. Our waitress made our evening really enjoyable and was very attentive and didn’t rush us at all.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at the Thai Shire on our second visit to Chipping Norton. They were closed on our first visit last year due to COVID restrictions. I think we were very fortunate to get a table for two, as when...we visited all the other diners appeared to be regulars. From first contact on the phone to leaving at the end of our meal we were made to feel very welcome and appreciated. We opted for one of the set meals (staters and mains), not only easier but usually well balanced. We were not disappointed, the food was hot and absolutely delicious.
