"We've had home deliveries from this establishment for quite some time now but this was the first order for a while.When I telephoned I asked for the meal for two at £27 to be delivered at 7.00 and gave the chap my address and postcode.As my wife wanted a dish she hadn't had before I asked for more information..he confirmed that both dishes were of medium heat. At 6.20 my intercom buzzed,it was a neighbour..the delivery had an address but no name.I told the guy that I wasn't happy but accepted delivery.When I looked at the food my wife's curry looked like a Korma(it was supposed to be a Special Matta)and was very bland..she refused to eat anymore as she said it was more like sweet custard!. After our meal(we shared my curry which was nothing special but ok) I called to voice my disappointment and the issues I'd had.The chap I spoke to was very apologetic but said they were too busy to do anything at the moment but he was keen get the owner(he was the guy who took the order)to telephone me to apologize and see how they could make amends...my phone has yet to ring. Don't know how this poor food and service has happened but,at the moment,I have no plans to give him my business again."

Amazing buffet small selection but well worth the visit fresh food not left lying for ages before you go to eat it nice quiet friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff highly recommend the food

Always friendly staff and food tastes fresh and delicious. We try new curries there every time and it's clear a lot of fresh ingredients and passion go into their cooking. The meal for two deal is particularly good value.

We have ordered from here a few times to takeaway and the food is always so tasty and full of flavour! We order the set meal for 2 and you get so much for the price. The staff are very lovely and welcoming. Will be back soon again.

Will never go again. Complained about standard of the food on offer being poor, and aggressive staff member was extremely rude about the whole thing. Managed to blame my friend for the restaurant serving lukewarm food and started shouting at us.

I don’t live in Aberdeen anymore, but I really loved the Blue Elephant for its consistent high quality food and reliable service. I ordered a takeaway in advance to be delivered later in the evening to my dad for his birthday in lockdown. It arrived bang on time and he messaged me to say it tasted absolutely delicious and even felt healthy for a curry! Ingredients were fresh and he thoroughly enjoyed it I was of course very jealous.

4 of us had a very enjoyable curry prior to heading to Pittodrie arrived at 6pm to be warmly greeted by Mr Das the owner Swiftly shown to our seats and had great poppadums, onions etc followed by a mixed starter and a variety of curries rice and nan. Food of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit and a shame the restaurant was not busier. They do a buffet on Sundays. He has a regular clientele who know what they can expect in terms of food and service. For those who have not been well worth a try. Easy on street parking too!

Has to be some of the worst customer service I’ve ever came across. I spent £40 to treat my partner and boy did we get a treat. The chicken looked looked like it had been taken out the packet and slapped it in some sauce. Was not even remotely cooked. Of course though the takeaway completely deny this and even though pictures were sent. They claim it’s the spices that made it look like that but everyone knows what uncooked chicken looks and feels like. Absolutely disgusting and to flat out deny and ignore is shocking. Avoid like the plague. Try currymount in Aberdeen!
