"Although the cellar is in itself from the road, we had a little effort to find it. we are not used to address like “The Diamond”, which only a small type of advanced semicircle of business. So, we were late for our reservation, but the people couldn't have been nicer. I had a delicious caesar salad for an appetizer; my man had an amazing smoked salmon appetizer with crimped cheese. then we had both the prosciutto rolled monk and a chocolate strawberry routine for dessert. everything was fresh and delicious. service was very friendly and helpful. we also loved the cozy atmosphere. all in all a wonderful culinary experience on the first day in Northern Ireland!"

I always dine at the Diamond when I go to Ballycastle with my sisters. I love the food and the staff are very friendly. I have never been disappointed.

absolutely amazing tasting! great! very helpful and competent staff, they could fit us into a prepaid table and we were finished in time. the best steak in a long time. really delicious tasting eating and brilliant service.

wow. had a selection of small plates here and they were amazing. the lobster was worth a big one at nine pounds, and the seafood pot was enormous. the scallop stack with black pudding was very tasty, but they only get a single scalopp. great eating and excellent worth.

Although it has nothing to do with pub dug, there was no pub dug. it was an excellent meal and the chef is obviously talented both at presentation and taste. starter, haupt and dessert were all beautiful, served by friendly staff and the bill was also reasonable. highly recommended.

had dinner with a friend in the restaurant at the back of this groundbreaking pub. the food was delicious from the sticky chicken and fish cake starters to the chicken and pasta main. after our meal, where we were entertained by ruairi, one of the owners, in the bar. we're coming back.

Incredible Irish Food Kind Staff I've been staying in Ballycastle on holiday for over a month now, and The Diamond Bar Steaks Cakes is hands down my favorite place in town to eat and grab a drink! I've never eaten a meal there that wasn't delicious, with some of my favorites being the Steak Sandwich, Steak Guinness Hot Pot, seafood chowder. The staff is super friendly professional, and the atmosphere is cozy! I love sitting by the fire and enjoying their wide wine selection (while my husband drinks a beer), followed by a delicious peanut butter brownie or slice of cheesecake. Don't leave town without enjoying this awesome spot right off the city square!
