"I had a challenging experience at this restaurant. I have visited many times in the past, but this was my first visit in about 5 years. The food was good, but not outstanding, and the staff were all friendly and efficient. However, something was missing. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Thursday and the restaurant was full. By 8:30pm, we were the only table left and by 9:00pm, we were being offered coffee and last orders. Half of the staff had already left and the remaining staff had their coats on. It seems like the new normal is to eat early and go home. It was not the lively "night out" experience I had been hoping for."

First time in The Exchange last night, was out with group of friends for a birthday. What a beautiful place, friendly, fast service, brilliant atmosphere . Food was delicious and reasonably priced. The food at this restaurant is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the staff is friendly. I have been here several times over the past 5 years and would highly recommend it. The service is quick, the atmosphere is great, and the recommended dishes are the Steak Pie with Mash and Veg, as well as the supposed-to-be Steak Sandwich. in the morning it's nice to drink coffee. beautiful personal large service and good value for money. later went an evening cocktail and listened to excellent live music. the next day went for an evening meal the food is excellent, good portions reasonable price. great pasta. later in the evening there is a good dj. everything in everything I had ever had for the best round venue. 5 stars

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and they always serve a generous portion of fudge cake for dessert. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was lovely. I would highly recommend this place for a dine-in meal, especially for dinner. The price per person falls within the range of £30–40, which is reasonable for the quality of food and service. Overall, I would give this restaurant a perfect 5 out of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
