Lovely place for Sunday lunch. Nice friendly staff. Quality food.

The Smallios family gathered for Sunday lunch at a restaurant. They enjoyed delicious roast beef with all the trimmings and complemented the meal with excellent draft beer.

Excellent food and service, really can’t rate the old thatched inn enough, pls don’t listen to the one bad review on here, the only one I can see. Look forward to the next visit .

very tailored to the needs. had vegan options that were all delicious. loved the starter, all my favourites. large vegan roast. and a vegan dessert option from dull flowers sorbet or ice.

This restaurant is a fantastic culinary experience. The staff is very friendly and provides excellent service. The food reminds me of what I've had in France. They even accommodated my picky Father by serving him his preferred fish dish. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

one of our party is disabled and there are no disabled parking bays or even a suitable drop-off point. the parking lot is small and many cars have to park on the very narrow village road. I parked about 200m away. once in the food were, staff and atmosphere very good and we all enjoyed the experience.

we are happy that we have moved to the village. we celebrated by eating in this wonderful pub. a real local resource. we divided two excellent crispy tinted fish, then I had sea roast and my wife had roasted hought all with good delicious gadgets. service is excellent. the ambiente warm and friendly. strong remming.

I dined at this restaurant last night with a group of 20 people. We had pre-ordered our 2 or 3 course meals. Situated in a charming small village, this restaurant is a cozy village pub. I indulged in 3 courses, all of which were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, with friendly and efficient staff. The prices were also reasonable.

Went with my partner for Valentine's Day evening meal. Haven't been for a while as have moved further away, but thought we would treat ourselves. The welcome from Andy and his staff is always warm and friendly and felt like coming home after some time away. I had the Celeriac Truffle Soup, Cheddar Cheese Scone, Salted Butter, to start, which for me was so creamy and tasty, the best soup I have had for some time, my partner had the Goats Cheese Mousse, Beetroot Carpaccio, Candied Walnuts, Wild Rocket, she stated this was tasty and just the right amount of serving so that you could progress and enjoy the rest of the meal.
