Lovely friendly place, excellent food. Its been 18 months since our previous visit and just as good. The food options are more interesting than the run of the mill. Good service, would recommend.

We had a lovely meal , the food was very good, only problem was it was very noisy , as there was a Christmas party on . W e would have liked to be given a choice of a quieter area , but we really enjoyed the food .

I have never sat in such a cold pub/restaurant I had the beef roast, which was very fatty and being so cold in there the food didn't stay hot for long. I would return but in the warmer months as being so cold it was not pleasant.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional, our waitress went out of her way to make our Christmas lunch special. Thank you, we will definitely return. This is the top restaurant in Thame!

Sunday lunch together with my friend. I had pork, she had chicken. Food was extremely disappointing. Overcooked, reheated, dry. Service very good, decoration inside nice. If you re going for a drink or a coffee, it would be ok. If you want to have a good lunch or dinner and you are used to eat very well cooked food, don t go to Thatch.

Amazing food and the service that went with it was excellent. The very friendly atmosphere just makes the place a must visit when close to Thame. The chefs hard work in producing some amazing dishes (recommend the Pork) is matched by the helpful and first class service by the staff. Emily looked after us and her recommendations were excellent...and service first class Will come back soon

Went for a celebration of the Mother in Laws’ 88th. Had such a great time that it’s hard to give thanks where due as all the staff were incredible. From parking her broom and finding a spare peg for the hat, ignoring the wandering warts and the odd incantation , to the candle for her cauldron. Can’t say thank you enough for the superb service and food but a heartfelt Thank You nonetheless.

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and I have noticed a decline in both the quality of the food and service in the last year. I understand that Sundays can be busy, but during our last visit we had to wait for our reserved table. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. The roast beef we ordered was very disappointing for the price of £26. The portions were small and the meat was not up to standard. There are much better places along the high street to enjoy a roast in my opinion. It is a shame because this restaurant used to be a favorite of mine.
