fantastic place for a restaurant on the top floor means that they can have a view of the river and the smells of restaurants drift up.

Lovely food, great service, disappointing that there wasn't enough bar staff on for a big event, it was at least 5 deep at the bar for the whole night

Had such his hopes for the three course meal, what was delivered was a tasteless starter though brilliantly presented, the main was passable but the desert was just a bizarre mix of brown bananas, peanuts and the most dense rectangle of chocolate I’ve ever encountered!

I visited Tom brown on Friday the 5th of April with family for an evening meal, to our delight there was a wonderful singer to accompany our meal. The food was so good too, I had one of the best fillet steaks I’ve ever had cooked to perfection. We’ll 100% be returning soon!!

I was incredibly disappointed in my experience here. My food came undercooked and when I requested to have them redo my order I was refused. The younge waitress had said that the chef 'Liam 's wouldnt be happy if she did. I heard such good reviews before which just added to the disappointment.

I've been going for years because of covid after tom browns, not this year, I went for Sunday dinner yesterday, and I have to say it was very disappointing to say the least. the personal is as fast as ever, but eating was not at its normal standard. When I asked one of the employees about the family, they informed me that it was already sold in the year. Now, I fear they will lose a large number of loyal customers with the food that is served. there must be 1 star and minus 10 for the food

recently visited with a friend for lunch. very disappointed that there was no early bird menu and the prices have almost doubled since our last visit. we both had the lamb that was tasty, but was quite expensive at £23. Unfortunately, we did not see any of the old employees who were very friendly and efficient. everything seemed very strange until I researched on the internet and discovered that tbs were bought. I hope the new owners can meet the previous standards of eating, service and cost as it was always one of my favorite places to dine.

We came here for the Mothers day Brunch. Despite the atmosphere being great with live music. Unfortunatly the service was very slow and the food was not worth the cost at all. Sandwiches were very bland and the bread had started to go stale. We were sat waiting for a while before anyone came over to offer us some drinks. There was one memeber of staff who seemed very on it, all credit to him! However, the rest seemed to lack personable skills. Overall, the worst experience I have had at Tom Browns- it appears it has gone very downhill since I last visited over a year ago.

I don't live near to Tom Browns (an hour's drive away) but was told by friends that the food is always delicious and the local area beautiful for walks. So myself and husband booked for lunch following a walk along the river. I am so pleased that we made the effort, the food was absolutely lovely the best meals we've had in quite a while and it definitely wont be the last time we visit. The staff should all be very proud of themselves at the level of service that they give to their customers, they couldn't do enough for us which added to our fab dining experience. Thank you Tom Browns, we are so pleased to have discovered you we will be returning soon and telling all our friends!
