Delicious food in an intimate environment. Will definitely be back!

Excellent homemade ice cream, I tried hazelnut and pistachio and could feel the ground pieces.

Shabby, smelly, squallid.. Can't find enough adjectives ti describe this hole. Everything was bad, from food to service to overpriced bill.

Lovely gelato. I chose mango and passion fruit flavour and also the chocolate flavour. They tasted very rich and natural. Staff service was excellent as well. What a neighbourhood hidden gem!

This rundown, unpleasant restaurant offers mediocre pizza and a less than desirable dining experience. The waitstaff were acceptable and professional, but the food was truly terrible. It also functions as a deli, but I would not recommend purchasing anything from this establishment.

The food here is nothing short of extraordinary. And the grocery store is a neighborhood gem. Pasta ala norma as good as in Sicily. Everything is elevated and wonderful. Ambience will transport you to the brightest lit most sparingly decorated trattoria in Italy. I would go in eyes wide open and enjoy the food. Also they used to be BYOB and cash only but now they have wonderful wines and take credit cards. Also pro tip. Best gelato in the neighborhood. And you can get it in large containers to go.

Anima e Cuore is located among a string of typical shops and cafes on the west side of Kentish Town Road. However, once inside, you will be greeted with a friendly atmosphere and delicious, freshly prepared Italian cuisine. My party of six visited on a Saturday evening after making a reservation in advance due to the small size of the restaurant. We had to choose our starters and mains ahead of time from the menu, but were able to select our desserts on the spot and bring our own wine. Despite the slow pace at which the food was served, we enjoyed every dish and found the service to be both friendly and efficient.
