"We had duck and salmon as mains. Beautiful food,duck is amazing I always get the duck when I come here. We didn’t took pictures of those cause we were too hungry lol. Nice desserts too and wine was class too.waitress was lovely and helpful .we will be back for sure,also location is nice too "

Lovely staffs but the food was alright, acceptable for the price but nothing too good. The spicy chicken wings were nice but the boneless chicken had a weird taste to it, I'm guessing it's the remainder fat under the skin

"Interesting dishes overall and good value for money. We have had a good experience, they are very generous with food offered (extra dish of mushrooms for us, extra dessert and two extra snacks towards the end of our meal . The ingredients’ combinations are creative. I did not expect that cucumber could go so well with meringue and lime sorbet, delicious lobster with purée and the goat milk butter with sourdough was fantastic, the list goes on I guess! "No doubt about it the food is first rate. Expertly cooked and well seasoned. The service is not what one would expect at a restaurant of this level (e.g. having to ask for wine list or water refill). Retaining qualified staff is challenging but the top restaurants manage that. Glass all around and close tables make for a loud and crowded environment but ambiance is clearly not a priority. If you only go for the food and not the experience it’s fine."

"Apparently they were very busy (just as a side note I booked in advance) so we were seated in the downstairs “breakfast room” rather than in the lobby level afternoon tea room (the room that is advertised with the nice tea sets and cute sofas an quirky tea room interior). That was already very disappointing. The room was in the lower ground level, it had a few breakfast tables, but otherwise felt empty and in addition the doors were closed. Luckily, another family arrived and was seated in the same room as us, so we felt a little less isolated and abandoned afterwards. The food was not even average in terms of quality, the sandwiches and scones were OK, but the cakes (although there was a selection of them) were not good at all. They were dry and somewhat tasteless. Definitely not reflecting the price! The friendliness and kindness of the waitress was the best part of the experience. She was extremely nice to us and to our dog. Overall, the afternoon tea at the Egerton House Hotel was disappointing and massively overpriced (we paid £184 for two including one glass of champagne each and the dog’s menu). The only benefit of this experience (or let’s say the only experience) is that you can bring your dog. But is it worth it? The answer is most definitely NO!!!!!!"

"I have been trying to make a reservation at this restaurant for some time, but I never seem to plan ahead enough to secure a spot. However, last night we managed to snag a last-minute table and brought along some very picky guests. We were all extremely impressed by the high quality of the food, which featured intricate yet simple flavors and a concise but fantastic menu. The service was warm and friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised with some complimentary snacks and an extra dessert. The food was top-notch in a cozy, neighborhood "pub" setting. We are definitely looking forward to dining here again during game season."

"Malaysian and Cantonese menu. Nice decor, well air-conditioned, very friendly and chatty staff. I had Aromatic crispy duck starter this was one of the best I've tried, the duck was cooked well and very delicious. The pancakes are big. Nasi Lenka the chicken was delicious, rice flavoured with coconut, side of peanuts and egg and a paste sauce. Anchovies I am not keen on so didn't eat them. I enjoyed this dish. Crisp beef it is very crispy cooked all the way through so it doesn't even taste like beef anymore and covered in a sweet sauce. It was like eating niknaks. I didn't enjoy this dish as much as the rest. Golden prawns giant prawns covered in crushed cornflakes. Again this tatsed too sweet for me, I enjoyed the prawns but I wouldn't recommend. Complimentary prawn crackers. This came to over £100 for 2 people. I feel like this was a little pricey. Parked on single yellow."
