"great food, nice service and atmosphere. we had the sharing steak plate we thought was very cheap at £35 (10oz ribeye steak, 2x chips, bevel rings, mixed veg, parmesan salate, pfefferkornsauce and 2 x glasses wein) and also a garlic bread (pizza style), which was delicious. only critique is how thin the steak was cut, I would have less pieces, but thicker discs I would also pay more for a bigger weight of steak. also the steak needed to season better and I couldn't taste olive oil flavor from cooking, just a few important improvements, but different from that, it was a delightful evening meal. treacle tart and a desert was also good! we will definitely visit again."

"We decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast delivery on a Sunday morning. Uber Eats had as their top rated so we decided to give it a go. We had been wanting to try this place for a long time. The breakfast arrived quickly...and was being handled very well by the Uber driver. When we opened it the packaging was well thought out. Little pots for the wet ingredients such as beans and tomatoes. The toast separately packaged. The eggs were perfectly runny which often doesn't happen with takeaway breakfast. We found the food delicious and plenty of it too. Our best breakfast delivery to late. Will have to try the rest of the money now!"

"Giving one, just because I can't score less. It has the potential for a lively setting, and good food. However, although presentation was appealing, the food itself for me was inedible, I left almost all of my food, I ate some beans which were just about palatable-but cold-the bread was the best part. Sausages were very salty, bacon cooked to resemble cardboards,eggs that were well poaced but tasted wrong. The tea was very weak. To the service: The tables were sticky and I had to put a napkin down, just so I could put my hands and arms on the table. We were left for the entirety of our meal, noone came to ask if the food was OK etc. I tried numerous times to get a waiters attention. We finally got it and he took our plates away, nothing no how was the food or was there a problem? you haven't eaten much etc. Came back with the bill and offered us a loyalty card. My husband said we weren't coming back here. Again nothing just oh. Then he walked away. Very disappointing."

"Absolutely amazing , food was excellent , staff were all very friendly , great atmosphere . We had the three course lunch , at £19.95 . Food was excellent , beautifully presented . Starter : Stilton and broccoli soup , lovely . Main course , Steak and vegetable pie with vegetables. So tasty. Dessert , raspberry cheesecake , l have got to say , this was the best cheese cake and ice-cream ever. Shall definitely be going back. Thank you"

"Popped in for lunch/brunch on Sunday and I just thought it was a sad place. Really nice decor and looks nice but I walked in and 3 staff wouldn 't even give me eye contact. It wasn 't packed and plenty of empty tables. Even if you 're busy a hi/welcome be with you in a moment isn 't too much to ask. We were taken to a table that said reserved (so they knew someone was going to sit there) but it was dirty, hadn 't been wiped down. Food was nice, drinks were nice, staff just weren 't attentive or bothered at all, struggled to get their attention at the end so we could pay and leave.
