Went for daughter's birthday and they made a fuss of her which was nice. Food was lovely and quickly served and staff were lovely too. Daughter also got 2 free slices of cake

I had an excellent dining experience for the second time at this restaurant! The service was great and well-managed by the manager. The food is top quality and a great value. I will definitely return.

Anyone claiming this is the best roast dinner must not have much experience. The meat was dry and tough, the potatoes were dense, and overall it was very disappointing. The carrots and Yorkshire puddings were the only highlights. Not enough to redeem this Sunday meal. Speisekarte ansehen

The staff are fabulous. Food nice and restaurant is in a lovely unit. We didn’t need to book. We were staying over in Chester le street for our anniversary and turned up on the Sunday at about 7pm to a warm friendly greeting. Service was...quick. Food nice. Chocolate fudge cake was delicious

after a visit to the Pentashaw Memorial we stopped at a time of deceit. the place is light and airy and we were not too close to another table. I ordered a marinara pizza and it was delicious. my friend had the vegetarian and that was good. I had to finish panacotta, that was a bit on the firm side, but still nice and my friend had the homemade pistachiogelato that she said was really good. the waiter was friendly and tested for my food allergy. everything in all it was a good sound, and we would not have thought if we were going back in the next opposite Speisekarte ansehen

Well what can I say about today’s visit except me and my partner haven’t enjoyed a meal that much in a while . I had carvery and he had a seafood platter . He actually complained that there was too much fish on his plate...but it was so nice he forced himself to eat it let’s be honest , it’s not often somewhere is actually generous with seafood) My carvery was second to none and what I especially loved was you could have as many Yorkshire puddings as you wanted not just the one Most carverys fob you of with I must add that the carvery xhef was one of the nicest people ever . He couldn’t do enough to help , the other staff were amazing too

Off the cuff we tried Sambuca Chester le Street for a roast dinner in the height of the lunchtime rush. The staff were amazing at fitting us in after only a few minutes wait. Quite easily the best Sunday carvery we had in the local...area...EVER...And then to find out it was only £8.95 a head, even better!! We paid £16 for a lunch last week in another local pub, it didn't even come close to today's food or service... Amazing!! We were served a healthy portion of soft and succulent roast beef... And then asked if we wanted to choose some or all the other meats too! Home cooked Yorkshire puddings, veg that was perfectly prepared with just xxx bite... And cauliflower cheese to die for!
