for a group of hikers for a lunch break. the website checked for menus, but google said it was permanently closed! when one of the groups was here before a week, we were not too worried. but when we arrived this morning, there was a sign that the place was closed because of unforeseen circumstances. Please note them and check them before they come. that said that things happen so that I am not too critical, but it was a disappointment.

Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch with family. Our first visit and it won't be our last. A tasty choice of beef, turkey or pork. Offered in two portion options. I had the large with a mix of turkey and pork. Loads of crispy roasts, wide and generous selection of vegetables, yorkie and stuffing, choice of plain or mustard mash too. Superb value and very filling. So much so, I was unsure we had room for desserts, however, that was quickly dismissed and teased into one by a whole list of my favourites. Sticky Toffee pud!.
