"if they want a Sunday roast, this could be the place to go while the first lock built them an extension as it area to use and by what I heard it is very popular, could be an idea to book well so not disappointed if they want to eat at busy weeks. the whole pub was really nice and the garden has many individual wood plasters for drinkers. there is a separate sportable with a telly that would not disturb the people in the front bar and that has a separate small outside surface with the sport in this to play. the young lady who works behind the bar has never stopped serving drinks and providing meals and once a table has been released, took glasses and teller away. People who live close are very happy to have such a great native to come into the position."

Lovely pub tucked away in Southdown, Harpenden. Pleasant pub with lovely atmosphere and decor. Severed with smiles. I had a lamb roast and the Mrs had a vegetarian Sunday roast. For desserts, we had sticky toffee pudding. Food was delicious and portion size was good.

I recently set the restaurant for a family meeting to remember and celebrate the life of my late mother. we were very well looked after, the staff were amazing, very friendly, friendly and helpful. all my desires were met up and above and the sandwich buffet that was plentiful and tasty. thanks for a nice afternoon.

A popular dearination in an easy to find location to the south of Harpenden, near to the common and St. John's church. Relaxed, friendly service in a comfortable environment. A wide selection of drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, with freshly prepared food served during meal times, a new chef has started so be prepared for new food ideas.

came a few days ago here with my daughter who booked us, I was never before, but the service and the food was just wonderful. our waitress hollie was so attentive and made the whole experience quite beautiful. the yorkshire puddings are so fluffy and the roast overall was very tasty, only disappointment there were no green sweets included and these are my favorites. we will definitely return and bring the rest of the family soon! thank you engineer!

As it was Father's Day, i wasn't surprised there was a long wait for food. However , my husband's chips were cold. We chose chicken with either rice or chips with salad . The salad consisted of a few sad leaves and no other salad. We did mention about the chips and your under manager kindly deducted one meal from our bill. Perhaps as it was 6 pm there was no salad left?? We feel your manager dealt with us sympathetically and we shall come back in the hopes that this was a one off. Lynne Stuart
