well made ham and cheese great eating in these very strange times.

The club sandwich was very generously sized, enough for three servings.

The pub has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The menu is extensive and I highly recommend trying the Yorkshire pudding wrap. I enjoyed it so much that I had it three days in a row (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) because it was delicious. After walking past the Ham and Cheese for years, we finally decided to have lunch there and see what it was all about. And let me tell you, the only thing we regret is not going sooner. The pub has a charming atmosphere and a fantastic menu. The food and service were excellent, with generous portions and good value. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I visited the Ham and Cheese for the second time and it is one of the best in the area. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was calm, perfect for enjoying a drink or a meal. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. The restaurant has good opening hours, making it convenient to stop in for a mid-morning coffee. I will definitely be visiting again. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the location is perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came here for evening meal on route to the North Yorkshire Railway Light Fantastic tour. Car parking was easy with a large carpark although bear in mind our satnav said the pub was up a no through road; in fact the pub was a little further along on the right. There is a wealth of outdoor seating available some of it sheltered should the weather be quite bad. Inside the pub is aesthetically very pleasing on the eye with a decent bar area, pool table off to the left; a large restaurant style seating area is off to the right.
