The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant has a large, spacious, and easily accessible ground floor seating area. As of June 2021, this restaurant offers a variety of vegan appetizers (3) and entrees (4). Unfortunately, the vegan desserts were lacking and consisted mainly of different types of fruit. The mushroom burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. Our server, who was vegan herself, was extremely helpful and understanding.

service here was very attentive and staff pleasant, professional perhaps as friendly. Eating was excellent. good selection of items in the menu. large aromen, decent portions and a very high standard presented. the restaurant decoration was cosey and modern, but felt very in. with the history of the building. I was happy to see you at night.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Fantastic rooms finished to the highest standard. All staff were friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely divine portions were huge breakfast set us up for the day which was great as there are loads of walks around this area. Stayed recently on a two night walking break in the area. The place is absolutely fantastic, the staff are all friendly , professional and very helpful. The room was immaculate and the food at breakfast delicious. The cleanliness of the whole establishment is a credit to the staff, every area was spotless. Even the car park ! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back. Great place with fantastic food and professional service. Rooms: Spacious , very clean and a great bathroom. Comfy bed. Nearby activities: Great walking area and close to Buxton, Bakewell etc Food drinks: Great menu and very good quality. Noteworthy details: Friendly and helpful staff

beautiful decor and expected to fit a high quality meal, but sadly disappointed. I wasn't very hungry, so for the steak sandwich with pommes. it came with cheap frying with a lot of salt already on them, a small top cheap bought...in coleslaw and a brioche burger bunge (why! the actually half decent, but rather mere pieces steak with blue cheese, mushroom and red wobble jam to house. the children said chicken gourjons and hello-burgers. service was ok, the personal was friendly but not very attentive, although there is hardly anyone in. mediocre best and I will not hurry, there are better eating in most pubs and possibly even in morrisons caffe. is something not from a glass?. came here with two friends while we were in a local AirBnB property. we loved it absolutely at the merchants yard a cordial greeting from the employees (the bar was already busy when we arrived at 15.00 clock. After we checked in, we were quickly shown to our table (in a corner of the Larg dining area from which we were glad) menu and asked if we wanted any drinks. what we ordered and the server came to take over our commands. all our selected courses were just delicious and we couldn't owe anything. my man and I had asked for various articles that should not be served on our tellers, and they have everything absolutely mocked up. we loved the season simply nice and fresh and buttery, al den...
