Went for the first time last night ...had delicious fab food , courses all was fresh , delicious and nicely presented. The staff and service were excellent ..we will be back .

The menu looked interesting we choose Scampi Cumberland sausages both Meals very poor no ambience staff very helpful needs help from GORDON RAMSEY I can remember when you could not get through the door Sorry will not be returning G&M cambe

Our second visit and the food was absolutely spot on. White bait and garlic mushrooms with Stilton starters. Seabass with capers and lemon sauce for main. Hubby had gammon. All fantastic and good value. Staff were attentive and good service.

today for lunch. they were busy, but we were soon taken to a table and drinks orders. the menu was standard, but there were some boarded specials. we expected a long waiting period, but it wasn't too bad, the employees were very...efficient when serving and clearing. my fish and chips were excellent well-cooked chips and quality fishes, all they want from a pub restaurant.

A very attractive Pub/Restaurant with a nice balance of traditional and modern with a period twist. We like going there for a drink and an occasional meal; the food and drink is usually good and the decor is wonderful. It should score star reviews...easily but the service standards are variable dependent on who's working on various shifts. If they would address that one inconsistency, they'd achieve stars all day long.

I visited the ship at caton with a few friends and eating was fantastic. friendly staff and good food. the food was well presented, great portions and tasted very good. we were the only customers when we visited, but shortly after we began to eat more few customers. we have been here for several years and have always been satisfied with the quality of food and services. I would certainly return to the future and would not have thought to recommend them to others.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch . The roast beef dinner was very tasty and the beer too was well kept, clear and tasted good. The staff came to the table to collect all orders, covid precautions seemed ok...although we saw one man stand...fir some time without a mask and he wasnt challenged, if we had been closer we would have asked him was he exempted ? The toilets were a one in one out self regulated. There was a sanituser on entry and on the table. Lots of people outside didnt look far enough apart. We sat inside.

the greeting we received was easy to puzzling as we were not sure whether the merciful friendly, rude or bipolar was. a regular village beacon that offers the usual bar menu with very little imagination, so punters get what they deserve, I suppose. there was...”Minty lancashire Hotpot” on the special board, that is one of my favorite dishes all the time, and considering that very few restaurants in lancaster had it actually on the menu, it was for me. what an unauthorized catastrophe. hotpot should be an unpretentious lamb stew, full of carrots and swirls with a lid of cut kartoffels often cooked for an hour or so.
