Three Tuns - Speisekarte

We had wild mushroom linguine and stew with vegan dumplings, both delicious!

I decided to pop into the Three Tuns for a pub lunch as - despite being a local of Romsey - hadn't been in there before.

Very nice pub, real fire, 4-5 real ales, walled out door seating. Didn't eat but the food which other people were eating looked very good. Speisekarte ansehen

Discovered by accident absolutely lovely place so friendly, best thing was our starter was missed which caused a laugh with us and the lovely lady who served us! No problem eating a scotch egg pie mash together! Will definitely be back when next in the area. Which won’t be long! If the next meal is as good as this one I’ll be moving in!!!! A friendly warm welcome in a lovely cosy room, unfortunately the car park is fairly small. We chose the one item that was not available on the menu that day which was a shame. We did however enjoy our burger options but we were after something special as it was a birthday treat. My husband enjoyed the real ales on offer. We will definitely be returning. The food I ended up having was really good but I questioned the vegan labelled roast dinner because it contained honey roasted carrots, Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese. It turned out none of those were vegan and they had to be removed from the order which was disappointing and my meal was half the size it should have been. I’m not even 100% sure I trusted their gravy. They didn’t have non-dairy milks for tea/coffee either.

My wife and I came to the Three Tuns for Sunday Lunch today, 23rd February 2025. We both chose the roast chicken. It was absolutely superb/delicious/scrumptious even..11/10. Portion size was perfect as was the contrast between the rainy February day outside and the cheery log fire inside! A big 'well done ' to the landlord and all his team! Thank you very much. We dined at the pub with friends who enjoy meat dishes. The food was enjoyed by both us and our carnivorous companions. Surprisingly, there were several vegan options available, which is not common for a traditional English country pub. The atmosphere of the small pub was charming and cozy, and the building itself was beautiful. Additionally, there is a nice beer garden and convenient car parking facilities.
