Brownlow Inn - Speisekarte

This is by far the best place i have eaten in the past 10 years. The food was amazing. It wasn't expensive at all. Just a shame I couldn't have parked the car up and found somewhere close by to stay.

We booked the Dine and Stay package and it didn’t disappoint. Rooms are amazing with comfortable bed and a great shower. Food was fantastic. Service from all staff was outstanding. We had a great stay and already looking forward to our next stay.

Wonderful... the staff were very friendly, which is not always the case at restaurants. The menu had a great variety of options, and we enjoyed our starters and mains. The portions were generous, and the food was top-quality. I would definitely recommend this place. Speisekarte ansehen

What an amazing restaurant! We went this Saturday, 17th February 2024, to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary and had the best experience. Staff, food and atmosphere all 10 out of 10 Thank you to both front and back of house staff for a wonderful night, we all feel like we celebrated in style!

Whilst it’s a bit of a drive for us to visit we’ve always had a great meal so made the trip tonight. The food was spot on, really big portions, came out really quickly and tasted delicious. We were served by Ethan who was excellent all night, really chatty and attentive making us feel right at home! Just wanted to ensure he gets some recognition as he is a credit to the business great staff are hard to come by and he will go far I’m sure. Thanks for a brilliant meal as always we will be back!

I went to this restaurant for dinner after booking online. The service was excellent and very professional throughout the evening. The food was well-presented and delicious, and I will definitely be returning. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we didn't have to wait long for anything. We tried the T-bone steak, small stroganoff, fudge cake, and creme brulee, as well as the naan and pork fillet for starters, all of which were really good. One suggestion for the owners or manager: consider upgrading the cutlery as it looks a bit cheap compared to the outstanding quality of the restaurant. We’re doing our best to get around the eateries in our area, and the Brownlow was our next ‘hit’. We’d booked for lunch and heaved up nearly an hour early (sorry). The owner was very friendly and took us to a table without any issue. The waitress (Poppy) was fairly new and still learning but she was very sweet. Everyone learns a new job! We ordered the Bobotie spring rolls to share. Two large rolls arrived which we devoured (we were hungry at that point). Then on to the chicken skewer BBQ style and the Tipsy Cow pie. ‘Twas a grizzly drizzly evening before the annual CrossFest championships. Myself, and my fellow athletic peers, all weary and ravenous after travelling the length of country found ourselves down a dark and mysterious country lane and like a miracle at Christmas, there were the twinkling lights of The Brownlow Inn. Wow!!! It has been many years since my last meal at the Brownlow. My late wife Dee and I used to dine here regularly. After her passing, I spent a lot of time working in Sub-Equatorial Africa, providing water to remote areas. Now that I am back in Congleton, some of my neighbors decided to take me out for a birthday lunch, and to my surprise, they chose the Brownlow.
