Went here for dinner before a show at Crazy Horse. Really liked the atmosphere and place and people and prices. Great food and wine. Cosy little place.

One of the best meals of our stay in Paris. A must do if in the area. Braised leg of Lamb, Duck with Potatoes, and quite possibly the best Creme Brûlée I've ever had!

There is nothing truly special about the Poule au Pot but I am quite fond of it. The decor needs a bit of freshening but the service is friendly and the food is respectable. Not a place to go to impress someone else, but definitely a solid neighborhood place worth remembering.

We both had the Rump Steak as they had finished the Scallops. Can't complain. My steak (medium) was succulent and tender, the chips fat and crunchy accompanied with a cheese sauce. All very nice but I would have preferred the cheese sauce to be a bit thicker. Lovely Creme brûlée for pudding. A satisfied diner.

Great place for lunch a general French menu but with a great Nouvelle cuisine Touch fish with an unusual vegetable sauce stunning visual presentation of food but the best are desserts cooked by a Japanese pastry chef classic French deserts with an innovative touch I work nearby and go for lunch when I can also great for morning coffee as well

After 10 days in Paris we found a really bad restaurant. Their special...chicken in a pot...is a leg boiled in water with scraps thrown in. Should be called chicken in a chamber pot. Steak was too tough to be eaten and service was worse. Our first experience with a true anti American attitude. Our mistake because near by restaurants are very good

By the impressive Esplanade des Invalides and opposite Pont Alexandre III, this is a fairly small and cosy restaurant. Good selection of food, wine and beer at a reasonable price. All the staff are really friendly and helpful, taking pride in their restaurant and the food they serve. Highly recommended. Take a chance and just turn up or to be certain, you will need to book, especially weekends. Great restaurant.

La Poule au Pot is a corner restaurant located in a quiet backwater near Les Invalides.It has a typical bistro decor withzinc bar, red leather banquettes, tiles, panelling, iron peg, chandelier. It offers country cooking with anot too extensive menu. Our dishes were simple not copious but tasty : octopus ceviche, bone marrow, black pudding, bangers and mash, rum cake and key lime pie. In the interesting wine list we chose côte du rhône and jurançon. Service was young and efficient, atmosphere was cozy friendly busy. Great value for money.

Based on the Parisian friends recommendation, we’ve been there for dinner with fiends. Based on the waiter’s recommendation, we started the evening with a bottle of champagne, together with an appetizer platter to share. Although they had a nice menu to chose from, again, majority wise based on the waiter’s recommendation, we ordered all sorts of different main courses and a good bottle of light red wine to start. After finishing the 1st bottle we ordered a stronger wine and again after listening to the waiters recommendation, it turned out to be a very good choice.All in all we spend a very nice evening there.
