Nice and cosy interior, the staff is extra nice and also the people you get to meet here good beer and good food with great friendly staff

Went here for our family Christmas dinner. Fantastic meal and fantastic service. The staff were so friendly. The chef also needs some recognition as the food was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Never dissapoints. Sunday roast was absolutely gorgeous. Both the beef and chicken .dessert is a must here. Chocolate bomb and hubby had apple crumble. Both outstanding. Staff are so helpful as always.make you feel so welcome

This was by far the best place that I have ever eaten any food. My partner and I went to The Salisbury Arms yesterday evening for a meal and it was absolutely incredible. Our server Mia bought us some water and then proceeded to get us drinks and our food ordered promptly. The king prawn and feta starter was delicious. My partner had the pie and I had the chicken. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. We will be back if we come to Edinburgh again. Speisekarte ansehen

So… be careful which table you sit at. Reserved tables are not identified so you’re told off for sitting at the wrong table. We moved and watched the reserved table remain unoccupied for over an hour. Also make sure you register your car. Woe be-tied you if you don’t just in case the empty car park suddenly becomes full of people who try to park for free whilst taking a 30 minute bus ride into Edinburgh city centre! What an absolute joke! Is it because we’re English?

Saturday dinner with friends. Overall experience was mixed. Decor and atmosphere was lovely, warm, and relaxed especially after a day of heavy rain. Service was slow (drinks and food took some time or were forgotten; empty glasses and plates were not cleared promptly). The food was average. They could do with fewer options done well on the menu. They had run out of the pork belly main (yet it was early evening). I opted for the halloumi and chips instead of fish and chips. My meal was plain and greasy, simply served with a string of rocket. On the positive, the wine choice was good.

We live very close by so have visited multiple times over the last year, and even ordered through Deliveroo sometimes the food is excellent and other times it's average. Recently it's been more on the average/poor side unfortunately. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are also lovely. I just wish it was more consistent I hesitate to bring visiting family members here, incase we drop in on a bad day! They have a great menu selection, and free parking is a bonus. We generally go for the fillet steak which is tasty and well cooked. We'll continue to visit in the hopes that things will improve! Speisekarte ansehen
