"Came in for lunch, looked at the menu as given to us and not informed that numerous things were missing. When ordering we was told there was no lobster for the prawn and lobster cocktail but we still ordered it. I ordered the Henry burger that is a 25.00 burger so you expect something decent. The burgers were dry and over cooked, short rib burgers should be bubbling with juices but no,chicken was dryish and chewy, no gammon and the fried egg was way overcooked. I get that it's a big feat making something like this but everything tasted precooked and thrown on the grill to bring up to a higher temperature. Items were definitely left in a merry chef or some kind of hot hold. I personally would not recommend this burger but the others look quite nice and a bit easier to make. I wasn't going to quibble as it is what it is and the staff seemed sufficient for the job. Very hit and miss here as my brother in law had a great meal last week but as an ex chef maybe my standards are a little bit higher... Who knows !"

Had a fabulous experience here. The food was excellent and a wide range of gluten free for those with these requirements. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend here for food and service. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a great time at the pub and enjoyed both dinners. The service was friendly and it was convenient to walk there. They even provided a bowl of water for our dogs. The food was high quality and the building was nice. We highly recommend this place.

It was a quiet day! We went for a last minute dinner, good portions of good food! Drinks were fluffed up a couple times but they were young and can be easily changed. Slightly pricey but will return when we can afford too! Price per person: £80–90 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Lovely place to go for good quality food and atmosphere. Ideal after a great walk or any other occasion. Only a 10 minute walk from Old Farm Park. Catered for the dogs with their own water bowls. Well done and definitely the best food in the Milton Keynes area and very reasonably priced Speisekarte ansehen

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The service was excellent and welcoming. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere was great. We ordered the fillet steak, which was cooked perfectly. For starters, we enjoyed olives and bread, both of which were very good. I will definitely be back, this time to try the beef Wellington.

We booked for a family birthday and must say the waiter was so attentive and welcomed us warmly. The Soup of the day was simply delicious and stayed hot for a good while. I am giving four stars because although the majority of the food was tasty except the vegan sausages which were overcooked, and chips did not taste fresh. But five stars to the waiter who looked after our party of 14. Many thanks.

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
